I’m big I’m bold I’m loud and I am beautiful

the way my spirit sings I’m proud and I’m immutable. 

performance, work rate, how I move is indisputable.

I let my voice take the reigns, then I’m irrefutable -

Yes - that’s the extroversion in me,

the need to share the way I’m feeling that’s the person in me. 

The way I like my words large, that’s my uni degrees (near 3)

The lyrics? That’s the human in me.

I’m a confident summer, but here’s a seasonal interval 

Not been green in a while & that’s unreasonable winter fall 

Barely been in a smile, my mind to mouth is all cynical 

tears rain from my face in a flood that would be Biblical

Pretend to be invincible - fine 

you can do it for a bit, but its a matter of time

you keep running around behaving like it's true, 

and you uniquely find out why that won’t work for you.

It’s a mask on a face but not a drop of hyaluronic 

Means the potion for the problem is never the right tonic 

If the focus on the pocus seems like it creates a chronic -

condition for the system maybe we shouldn’t be on it?
