Bio

Li Laurent is an accomplished lyricist, vocalist, trained dancer and producer hailing from Derby, U.K. Recognised on stage, street, airwaves and studio as an innovative voice that seamlessly shifts between vulnerability and power. Known for blending evocative lyrics with atmospheric soundscapes that span across styles. Li's music captivates listeners through its honest storytelling & intricate melodies. Her quick wit, hilarious commentary and keen sense of connection has seen her evolve artistically as a presence across international borders to critical acclaim with her debut album "Not a Genre". A notable talent leaving an indelible mark in the industry "everywhere she goes is a stage" (Brucie Awards, Adelaide Fringe 2025). In February 2025 Li Laurent co-produced  starred in the sold out theatre show Twist on the Tales, and continues to make comedic waves in her duo POWERHOUSE with Eddy Rockefeller.

Li is currently shortlisted in the Australian Songwriting Prize 2025 & her second album "All Good Choices" is out later this year.
